Want to be ready for life after high school? Whether you're planning for college, a career, military service, entrepreneurship, or simply more independence, understanding money is one of the most important skills you can develop.
In this engaging one-day workshop, teens will learn the financial basics that many adults wish they had been taught earlier. Through interactive activities, real-world scenarios, and hands-on challenges, participants will explore how money works and how smart financial decisions today can create more opportunities tomorrow.
Topics Include:
- Budget Basics – Learn how to create a realistic spending plan and make your money work for you.
- Income & Taxes – Understand paychecks, deductions, taxes, and what happens when you start earning your own income.
- Credit & Debt – Discover how credit scores work, how borrowing can help or hurt you, and how to avoid common financial mistakes.
- Saving & Investing – Explore ways to grow your money, build financial security, and start thinking about long-term wealth.
By the end of the day, participants will have practical tools to manage money with confidence, make informed financial decisions, and take their first steps toward financial independence.
Because financial freedom doesn't start when you're an adult—it starts when you learn how money works.
